• My back was always hurting!

I was referred to Waterman Chiropractic Center in July of 2007 by a colleague from work. My severe back pain and spasms had been occurring intermittently for the last 10 years but my most recent episode started about 4 months prior to seeing Dr. Waterman and I was in constant pain. I had previously tried physical therapy, massage, stretching, Advil and rest without relief. Since beginning treatment with Dr. Waterman, I have enjoyed a swift and profound improvement in my quality of life. After the first adjustment I was feeling 50% better and I had full relief of pain within the following 4 weeks. Since then I have adopted regular chiropractic adjustments, cycling and strengthening exercises. I can enjoy my life at home and concentrate on my work without pain. In addition to my regular adjustments, I have benefited from light therapy, kinesio tape and soft tissue release on the plantar fascitis in both my feet. My experiences with the staff and doctors at Waterman Chiropractic Center were very organized, positive and professional.

I came to see Dr. Waterman after having been in a five car accident. At first I didn't realize how bad my injuries were, I just knew I was really uncomfortable. I couldn't sit, stand, or lay down for any significant period of time, which obviously had a negative effect on my professional and personal life. After my first few adjustments with Dr. Waterman, I felt so much relief. I gradually regained muscle mobility and today I think I'm better than before I had my accident. I have also suffered from allergies and sensitivities since middle school. I would avidly avoid anything to do with the outdoors. I couldn't be around trees, plants, flowers, grass, and animals. I also have a history of digestive issues after being diagnosed with GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease). Dr. Waterman treated me for my allergies and the positive affects have been outstanding. I used to wake up every morning with a bloody nose and now they are gone. In the spring months, I would snore every night, and now I wake up each morning breathing freely through my nose. I had chronic post nasal drip, dripping down onto my vocal chords and into my throat. I am a singer, so the reduced post nasal drip has not only improved the health of my vocal chords but it has positively expanded my singing range and the timbre of my voice. Allergicare has improved my skin by reducing my acne and dark circles under my eyes. My whole body just feels healthier and it's made me a lot happier! Instead of spending so much energy on trying to fight my allergies, my body is now more effective at keeping me healthy. I am so grateful for the treatment I have received from Waterman Chiropractic.

I have been a patient of Dr. Waterman's for about 15 years, but I began chiropractic treatment when I was in the eighth grade because of horrible knots in my back. I get adjusted regularly and also have had a series of decompression treatments for my lower back. Dr. Waterman also helped me cope with my crippling migraines using regular adjustments and light therapy. Until chiropractic treatment, I had been taking prescription medicine for my headaches with no results. Since being adjusted, my migraines are less frequent and less severe. I have also been educated by Dr. Waterman and his staff about how to maintain a healthy lifestyle - physically, emotionally, and mentally. They are a welcome part of my week and I look forward to my visits!  

I've been a patient at Waterman Chiropractic Center for the last 4 months.  I am Dr. Austin's mother-in-law and she insisted that I be evaluated when she started working at Waterman Chiropractic Center last year.  Before I became a patient I had grabbing, searing pain in my upper buttocks and hips when I was standing, sitting, or laying down.  I was taking between 2 and 6 Advil per day for the pain in order to continue participating in my various activities.  My pain started about 10 years ago and has gotten steadily worse over the years.  The only previous treatment I had tried was therapeutic massage along with regular exercise and stretching without any lasting relief.  My first impression of the office was a friendly, concerned staff.  Both doctors performed a comprehensive and thorough history and exam.  They expected at that time that my pain was fixable!  Since being adjusted regularly, I am largely pain free.  I rarely take pain medication and I feel more flexible.  I was amazed because I stared to feel the results of the chiropractic care almost immediately.  I am now enjoying tennis, golf, and jazzercise without pain or the fear of pain.  I sleep better and overall I feel much healthier.  I am impressed with the variety and effectiveness of the techniques used in the office.  I always feel confident that any symptoms can be dealt with!

My first signs of hip and leg pain began in April of 2007.  The pain was interrupting my sleep, concentration at work and home, and I was unable to play golf or go for walks. My general practitioner referred me to a back surgeon who prescribed an epidural injection and Darvocet for the pain. After a few months of physical therapy I was referred to yet a third doctor who actually performed the injection. This relieved my pain for about 2 months, but the pain returned and I was not looking forward to another injection. I was also concerned with the possibility of stomach problems as a side affect to taking multiple doses of Ibuprofen a day. In my quest for an alternative solution, my wife's coworker referred me to Dr. Waterman. My first impression was that the staff was very friendly. They knew my name when I arrived and greeted me warmly. Both Dr. Waterman and Dr. Austin were very helpful and informative and answered all my questions throughout the examination. I liked the fact that Dr. Waterman didn't make any empty promises in telling me that he could help my problems. He told me that he hoped that he could help me and would tell me if he couldn't. I started seeing results by the second adjustment! The intensity of the pain started to decrease and after the ninth adjustment I was free of pain. I am able to sleep comfortably, and my work and daily tasks are returning to normal. I was a skeptic when I walked into this office, but Dr. Waterman, his staff and his results have made me a convert!
