Dr. Devin Waterman, D.C., P.A.K
Dr. Devin Waterman is a second generation chiropractor and has grown up with chiropractic care since birth. In his father’s practice he witnessed many blessings of health restored and hope given to families where it was previously lost. Inspired by results, he decided to follow in his father’s footsteps and has now joined the practice.
Dr. Devin graduated from Life Chiropractic College West after completing his undergraduate studies at the University of California Davis with an undergraduate degree in exercise biology. While in graduate school, he developed his expertise in professional applied kinesiology, functional endocrinology and sports chiropractic. He found joy participating in mission trips to Cambodia where he served thousands who benefited from improvement in overall health and function. Dr. Devin also enjoys finding time out of his busy schedule to give back to chiropractic students by mentoring them to become great future doctors.
After studying pathology and physiology of the body, Dr. Devin learned about the innate and inborn intelligence of the human body. He learned that the brain and nervous system co-ordinate this intelligence, and in doing so, millions of vital bodily functions. Now he has committed himself in the pursuit of drugless and natural approaches to health for those in his community. Dr. Devin is diverse in many chiropractic techniques and finds it beneficial to fit the patient to the technique, not the technique to the patient.
Outside of the office Dr. Devin is in love with the outdoors. He frequently hikes and bikes the various Easy Bay trails, always looking for new routes and challenges. He has competed in multiple triathlons to push himself mentally and physically. He finds that being under chiropractic care allows for an optimally functioning nervous system and therefore allows the body the ability to heal itself.
Dr. Alex Lee, D.C.
Dr. Alex Lee is a patient-turned-Chiropractor after trying multiple approaches to heal a lingering college athletics injury. Through that process, he also began to study Chiropractic’s philosophy of natural health and holistic healing, and changed his paradigm as to what real health is. He switched careers upon realizing that his passion is in guiding family and friends to heal and perform at their highest levels, with a clear nervous system through Chiropractic as a keystone in the foundation of health.
Dr. Alex graduated from Life Chiropractic College West after completing his undergraduate studies at Wofford College (South Carolina) where he was a 4-year starter on the baseball team (NCAA D1) and earned a BA in Business Economics. Before Chiropractic college, he worked for 3 years as a coach and manager of baseball/softball training academies in Atlanta and Austin before playing four seasons of baseball internationally as a professional in Europe and Australia. He has served at the Sant Nirankari Mission in India, providing Chiropractic care for over 15,000 people in a three-day span with a team of 30 doctors, and is a member of the Delta Sigma Chi professional Chiropractic fraternity.
Outside of the office Dr. Alex spends almost all of his time outdoors enjoying the elements, walking/hiking, camping, golfing, or training Brazilian jiu-jitsu. He enjoys cooking meals from scratch with his girlfriend, taking cat naps, coffee, and is an avid reader. He finds that being under regular chiropractic care keeps his body and mind sharp, balanced, and energized. As a human performance expert, his goal is to make a plan to help your body heal naturally and perform at 100%, and loves working with families, athletes, and anyone healing from concussion injuries.
Gerald Roliz, CNC
Ever since his childhood, Gerald Roliz, CNC has been on a quest to optimize his own health. In high school, he studied which foods to eat to enhance his cognitive skills to enable him to score high on college entrance exams. While attending U.C Berkeley, he majored in Molecular & Cell Biology to understand the unseen activities within the body’s cells and Psychology to understand the inner workings of the brain. After graduation, he worked as a pharmaceutical sales representative for 5 years where he taught medical doctors about Drug to Drug interactions, adverse side effects, and withdrawal syndrome caused by many of the commonly prescribed pharmaceutical medications.
Gerald realized that the use of chemical based medicines is a risky feat and left his role as a drug rep. He regained his conscience and devoted the next chapter of his career researching the real cause of disease and illness. In doing so, he found non-chemical based solutions that are nearly 100% certain to bring a person optimal health and vitality.
After studying whole food nutrition to improve the body’s natural healing ability at the molecular level, he opened his nutritional practice, The Healing Body. In addition to showing signs of malnutrition, he noticed that his clients presented symptoms that resembled the side effects of their prescribed medications. He further discovered that some of his clients’ diseases were actually caused by them. Certified by the American Association of Nutritional Consultants (AANC), he provides nutritional consultations for clients and lectures nationally to holistic health care practitioners on the application of whole food nutrition and herbs to restore human health. He is a regular guest lecturer at the top Traditional Chinese Medicine Universities in Northern California. Gerald is also the author of The Pharmaceutical Myth: Letting Food be Your Medicine is the Answer for Perfect Health. Gerald is passionate about composting, growing vegetables, raising chickens, bow hunting, gathering wild herbs, eating fresh or fermented foods and connecting with family members around the kitchen table or during a hike in the outdoors.
